6100 Series Diagnostics
PROBLEM:
- My lock does not open every time I enter my code.
CAUSE:
- This could be an indication that the lock has an electronic
short.
- There could damage to the lock's ribbon cable during
installation.
- There could be a problem with the keypad.
SOLUTION:
- Inspect the ribbon cable. If there are any hard bends,
crimping, cuts or obvious visible damage then replacement
will be required.
- If the keypad is suspected to be faulty, or the ribbon cable is
found to be damaged then Please contact you safe
manufacturer for all information relating to warranty and
repair.
